Design, Branding, Illustration, & Storytelling.

Jeremiah McDaniel was born in Marion, Ohio, a small town north of Columbus surrounded by corn fields. He has been drawing since he learned how to hold a crayon. One of his first memories was at the antique school desk his parents gifted him that was filled with his art supplies. He would lift the lid and discover the worlds he could make.

He graduated from college in 2013 with a degree in graphic design and minors in studio art and web design. Degree in hand, he packed up his red Jeep Wrangler and, like so many others, headed west with a dream. He wanted to pursue a career in graphic design, making cool stuff with cool people.

Over the past decade, he’s had the opportunity to live out that dream. As a creative professional in both freelance and studio capacities, Jeremiah has explored and experimented with tools and styles. The portfolio you see here represents the variety of work he’s been privileged enough to be a part of. He’s partnered with brands like Xbox, Microsoft, T Mobile, and Pokémon, designed for local bands and artists, and he’s always willing to work with friends and family. Through that variety, though, a few core elements have stayed the same regardless of how much he explores and wanders.

Much like he did when he was five, Jeremiah holds world-building and storytelling at the heart of his craft. To him, all creative solutions are collaborative in some way or another. The collaboration process is much more productive and inspiring than trying to push his opinions while ignoring a team member or a stakeholder. Jeremiah is committed to getting better with every project. He sees his craft as a continual journey; there are always new approaches, new technologies, and new ways he can bend tools to solve a problem. Jeremiah’s goal is always to deliver a unique solution with the highest level of craftmanship.

In addition to his art, Jeremiah is passionate about music, travel, his cat Markitty de Lafayette (Yeti), and his wife, Elizabeth, and son, Julian.
